This is a blog of how I (mis)understand the world. Like any other blog, this is a curated space for my thoughts and projects. You may encounter write-ups on the following (non-exhaustive) list of topics: geography, cybersecurity, cartography, data engineering, bike commuting and touring, ecology, anime, science fiction, K-Pop or the algorithms that our lives depend on.

You might be wondering: Why topogra.ph? I find that it is a fitting play of the .ph top-level domain and my interests in studying spaces and places and how we individually and collectively navigate them.

One of the meanings of topography as defined by Merriam-Webster is:

The physical or natural features of an object or entity and their structural relationships

while its etymology is:

Topographein: topos (place) + graphein (to write).

I write as I understand the world from my position, a topography of sorts.
